Science has never tasted so good

Or looked so pretty! Check out some of this nerdy food art by Kevin Van Aelst:

Karyotype:
Mitosis:
Periodic Table:Cantor set (or maybe also oogenesis? ha?):
He has a lot of other neat stuff over there - I suggest you go check it out!

(Thanks to Keely for the tip)

  1. Okay, I’m seriously wondering how he did that last one with the eggs. But still, that’s some cool stuff. Appetizing, too. =P

  2. So is it sexist of me to want the girl version of the first one? Or just greedy?

Mitosis looks like something that might actually be within reach of my culinary/artistic skills. Too bad the science is beyond me ...

  3. The egg one is obviously Photoshopped. The lighting on each yolk is exactly the same. Still very well done and awesome, though. My favorite is the gummy periodic table.

  5. Screw being blinded by science, I'm going to be blinded by its taste.
